Mandarin Oriental

Commissioned by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London to hand paint over 100 lifelike English butterflies on the walls of their Butterfly Terrace overlooking Hyde Park.

The stunning result is a hypnotic, peaceful and colourful space. The works were created to “raise awareness about the environment in the face of climate change”. Alongside complementing Joyce Wang's Hyde Park-inspired interior redesign of the hotel, and makes the narrow, elegant terrace a point of interest.
